SFQ-160027 - Vegetation Control Services for Willow Run Airport

Summary of Specifications:
Through this Solicitation for Quotes (SFQ), the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit quotes to provide vegetation control services at Willow Run Airport. The majority of the services will be concentrated on the application of herbicides to kill vegetation along perimeter fence lines and on airfield taxiways and runways at Willow Run Airport. However, the Airport Authority may request additional areas to be treated on an as needed basis and request different application services such as pesticides and/or fertilizer. The Airport Authority seeks qualified and experienced landscape maintenance providers to assist in maintaining the grounds at Willow Run per Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. Per FAA Part 139 regulation, removal of all vegetation on airfield pavement areas is required. However, services will also include non-airside areas.
