FAMILY AQUATIC CENTER DEMOLITION
IN WEST BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN
BIDS DUE: OCTOBER 12, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. LOCAL TIME
West Bloomfield Parks + Recreation Commission, will receive sealed bids at Commission offices, at 4640
Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield, Michigan, 48323 until 10:00 A.M., on October 12, 2017, at which
time the bids from plan holders of Record will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project includes:
1. Demolition of Building
2. Demolition of Outdoor Pool
3. Demolition of Site Elements Associated with the Building and Pool
4. Partial Removal and Capping of Utilities
5. Engineered Fill
6. Site Stabilization
Drawings and Specifications may be obtained on September 15, 2017, electronically at Builders Exchange,
Dodge, or Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) or at Commission Offices, 4640 Walnut
Lake Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48323.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. The meeting
will be held at the site, 6200 Farmington Rd., West Bloomfield, MI 48322.

A certified check, cash or surety bid bond payable without condition to the West Bloomfield Parks +
Recreation Commission for a sum not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the Proposal shall be
required with each Proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance,
labor and material, and maintenance and guarantee bonds in the amount of 100% of the project. The
Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in the proposals.
No bids may be withdrawn after the above date and time for receiving bids for a period of ninety (90) days.
