Summary of Specifications:
submersible sanitary pump station with a building to house the electrical, controls, SCADA and process piping. Major elements of the project are as follows: 1. Placing a tapping sleeve, valve and line stop on the existing 20 inch diameter pre-stressed concrete cylinder pipe forcemain. 2. Installation of steel sheet pile cofferdam approximately 80 feet in depth, excavate to approximately 53 feet deep, placing a minimum 19 foot thick concrete plug via the tremie method in the excavated cofferdam then placing a concrete base and 8 foot by 14 foot precast concrete wetwell sections. 3. Furnish, install, maintain and monitor a sanitary sewage bypass pumping system for two (2) different time periods and two (2) different setups. 4. Furnish and install three (3) chopper pumps, one (1) in wet well mixer system, associated piping, valves fittings, flow meter, pressure transducers, floats, pipe and equipment supports. 5. Construction of a split face masonry building with concrete foundations, lighting, electrical, heating and ventilation. 6. Complete electrical system, control system and SCADA system. 7. Demolition of the existing below ground steel can type drywell pump station. Plans and specifications are not available for distribution during the pre-qualification period. Copies of the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire may be obtained after 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the office of Johnson and Anderson, Inc., mailed via US postal service or emailed upon request. The Pre-Qualification Questionnaire is available at no charge. Contractors requesting the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire shall supply the telephone and fax number, street address, and the name of the individual or firm whom Addenda, if any, can be directed. Upon completion of the evaluation of the submittals, Pre-Qualified contractors will be invited to submit proposals for the construction of Lift Station #2.
