Summary of Specifications:
DESCRIPTION OF GOODS AND SERVICES: 1. The services consist of plan development, sampling, analysis, and reporting of certain emissions from the YCUA Fluidized Bed Sewage Sludge Incinerator (FBSSI), pursuant to Air Permit #68-02A and the owner’s specifications. The Scope of Work shall consist of development of a Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) approvable written Intent to Test Plan for the sampling, analysis, and reporting of Carbon Monoxide and Mercury in the exhaust (flue) gas of the YCUA FBSSI. 2. The Scope of Work shall also consist of the development of a separate test plan for the sampling, analysis, and reporting of Sulfur Dioxide in the flue gas upstream (before) of the granular activated carbon absorber (GACA). The results of this upstream sampling and analyses shall be in a separate written report. 3. Also, to be listed on the Bid Form as an option for YCUA’s sole discretion is an itemized cost for the sampling, analysis, and reporting of the nitrogen oxides (NOx), Lead, and Particulate Matter concentrations in the exhaust (flue) gas of the YCUA FBSSI. 4. Perform sampling, analysis, and reporting as specified in the approved Intent to Test Plan and the separate test plan.
