CK09MERCER2021-16 - INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL UNDERGROUND AND ELECTRICALLY OPERATED DEVICES

The County of Mercer requests bids for the Installation of Traffic Signal Underground and Electrically Operated Traffic Control Devices at various locations throughout Mercer County. This project consists of constructing new traffic signal foundations, controller foundations, and traffic signal conduit for the purpose of upgrading existing and installing new traffic signal systems. In addition, the project would include installation of solar powered Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons and Driver Speed Feedback signs at various locations throughout Mercer County. It is the intent of this project to accommodate locations not yet identified during the course of the contract period. The contractor shall be responsible for utility mark-outs and coordination with affected utilities. The contractor shall also be responsible for maintenance and protection of traffic and coordination with local police. However, the contractor shall not include costs related to payment for police officers.  Payments shall be billed separately and directly to Mercer County.  Refer to the technical specifications and drawings.
