Summary of Specifications:
Notice is hereby given that separate sealed proposals will be received by the Morris County Park Commission (the “Park Commission”) at 11:00 a.m., prevailing time on Friday, February 6, 2015, at the Morris County Park Commission Administration Building, 300 Mendham Road, Morris Township, New Jersey, for furnishing and delivery of CATALOG OR ON-SITE PURCHASE OF INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED BY MAIL OR IN PERSON on the proposal forms provided in the manner designated therein, and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope “Sealed Bid” with the bid number 32-15 and the title “Catalog or On-Site Purchase of Industrial and Commercial Equipment and Supplies” noted. Bids must be received or presented to Ms. Peggy Marcketta, Purchasing Agent Manager, Morris County Park Commission, P.O. Box 1295 Morristown, New Jersey 07962-1295. Bidders choosing to submit bids by any means other than in person at the published time for bid opening will assume all liability for the timeliness of their receipt. No bids shall be accepted after the designated time. Contract Documents for the proposed work are on file at the Park Commission Administration Building, 300 Mendham Road, Morris Township, New Jersey. All bids to be considered must be submitted on the forms obtainable at the Park Commission Administration Building on or after Tuesday, January 13, 2015, during regular business hours, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., prevailing time, Monday through Friday. The above information will also be accessible from the Morris County Park Commission’s website at www.morrisparks.net under the “Public Bids//Vendor Registration” link. The Park Commission shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source. The successful Bidder shall comply with the Affirmative Action Requirements of N.J.S.A. 10.5-31 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 17:27. Award will be made through a fair and open process pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19.44A-20.4
