Summary of Specifications:
Notice is hereby given that separate sealed proposals will be received by the Morris County Park Commission at 10:00 a.m., prevailing time on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at the Morris County Park Commission Administration Building, 353 East Hanover Avenue, Morris Township, New Jersey, for the furnishing and delivery of the following item: PURCHASE OF GOLF COURSE PLAY EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES VIA CATALOG OR ON-SITE PURCHASES. It is the bidder’s responsibility that bids are presented to the owner at the time and at the place designated on the proposal forms provided in the manner designated therein. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed; however the owner disclaims any responsibility for bids forwarded by regular or overnight mail. Each bid shall be enclosed in a separate sealed envelope and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope “Sealed Bid Material”, “Response Enclosed” with the name and address of the Bidder and the Contract Title and Number and addressed as follows: Morris County Park Commission; P.O. Box 1295; 353 East Hanover Avenue; Morristown, New Jersey 07962-1295; Attn: Peggy Marcketta; Purchasing Agent Manager. A second sealed envelope, containing the same mailing information with the bid forms, must be included in the mailing envelope for bid security purposes. Bids received after the designated time and date will be returned unopened. Contract Documents for the proposed work are on file at the Park Commission Administration Building, 353 East Hanover Avenue, Morris Township, New Jersey. All bids to be considered must be submitted on the forms obtainable at the Park Commission Administration Building on or after Monday, October 7, 2013 during regular business hours, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., prevailing time, Monday through Friday. The Park Commission shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source. The above information will also be accessible from the Morris County Park Commission’s website at www.morrisparks.net under the “Public Bids/Vendor Registration” link. EACH BIDDER MUST COMPLETE AND SUBMIT WITH THE BID the Ownership Disclosure Statement, Affirmative Action Assurance Form, and Non-Collusion Affidavit contained in the Contract Documents. It is requested that all bidders submit with their bid the State of New Jersey Business Registration Certificate. The successful Bidder shall comply with the Affirmative Action Requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Award will be made through a fair and open process pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4.
