Summary of Specifications:
The Morris County Park Commission is seeking Requests for Proposals from individuals or organizations to operate food concessions and install, operate, and maintain food and beverage vending machines at The Mennen Sports Arena, 161 East Hanover Avenue, Morris Township, New Jersey. Qualified Vendors are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.1, et seq. The successful vendor shall comply with the Affirmative Action Requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Said request for proposals (RFP) will be available from the Morris County Park Commission Administration Building, PO Box 1295, 353 East Hanover Avenue, Morris Township, New Jersey, on or after Thursday, November 21, 2013 during regular business hours, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., prevailing time, Monday through Friday. The above information will also be accessible from the Morris County Park Commission’s website at www.morrisparks.net under the Public Bids link. Deadline for submitting responses for qualifications and proposals is no later than 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 12, 2013. An original and two copies (one unbound) of the qualification/proposal packets shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “The Operation of Food Concessions & Installation, Operation, and Maintenance of Vending Machines at The Mennen Sports Arena” to the attention of Reynold Fauci, Director of Recreation, Morris County Park Commission, 353 East Hanover Avenue, PO Box 1295, Morristown, New Jersey 07962-1295. The successful vendor must demonstrate the ability to deliver services that adhere to the specifications outlined in the Request for Proposal, and provide required references.
