Summary of Specifications:
The Morris County Park Commission is requesting proposals and qualifications from qualified individuals and/or firms for the creation of a Historic Landscape Report for Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morristown, New Jersey. Qualified Consultants are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.1, et seq. The successful bidder shall comply with the Affirmative Action Requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The scope of work may include any or all of the following: meeting attendance with owner, site visits, assessment of current conditions, analysis of previous related planning documents, historic research, written report including prioritized recommendations, and estimated costs. Said request for proposals (RFP) will be available from the Morris County Park Commission Administration Building, PO Box 1295, 353 East Hanover Avenue, Morristown, New Jersey, on or after Tuesday June 5, 2012 during regular business hours, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., prevailing time, Monday through Friday. The above information will also be accessible from the Morris County Park Commission’s website at www.morrisparks.net under the Public Bids link. Deadline for submitting responses for qualifications and proposals is no later than 4:00 p.m., Tuesday June 26, 2012. Two unbound copies of the qualification/proposal packets shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “HISTORIC LANDSCAPE REPORT” to the attention of Lynn Laffey, Curator of Collections & Exhibits, Morris County Park Commission Administration Building, P.O. Box 1295, 353 East Hanover Avenue, Morristown, New Jersey 07962-1295 The successful bidder must demonstrate the ability to deliver services that adhere to the requirements outlined in the RFP, and provide required references.
