NOTICE TO BIDDERS
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS INVASIVE PLANT SPRAYING SERVICES
Notice is hereby given that separate sealed proposals and qualifications will be received by the Morris County Park Commission (the “Park Commission”) at 9:00 a.m., prevailing time on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at the Morris County Park Commission Administration Building, 300 Mendham Road, Morris Township, New Jersey, from Licensed Pesticide Applicators in the State of New Jersey to provide INVASIVE PLANT SPRAYING SERVICES at various locations throughout the Morris County Park Commission, as may be needed in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents.
Request for Proposal WILL BE RECEIVED BY MAIL OR IN PERSON on Thursday, April 21, 2015, at 9 a.m. on the proposal forms provided in the manner designated therein, and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope “RFP - INVASIVE PLANT SPRAYING SERVICES” noted. Proposals must be received or presented to Renée Klose, Purchasing Agent, Morris County Park Commission, 300 Mendham Road, P.O. Box 1295 Morristown, New Jersey 07962-1295. Bidders choosing to submit bids by any means other than in person at the published time for bid opening will assume all liability for the timeliness of their receipt. No bids shall be accepted after the designated time.
Documents are on file at the Park Commission Administration Building, 300 Mendham Road, Morris Township, New Jersey on or after Thursday, April 2, 2015, during regular business hours, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., prevailing time, Monday through Friday. The above information will also be accessible from the Morris County Park Commission’s website at www.morrisparks.net under the “Public Bids/Vendor Registration” link. The Park Commission shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source.
The successful Bidder shall comply with the Affirmative Action Requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Award will be made through a fair and open process pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19.44A-20.4.
