Summary of Specifications:
The Morris County Park Commission is seeking Requests for Proposals from individuals or organizations to operate food concessions at the Golf Courses and to obtain Alcohol Beverage Control licensing to provide Beverage Services for beer and wine at the Berkshire Valley Golf Course, 28 Cozy Lake Road, Jefferson Township, Flanders Valley Golf Course, 81 Pleasant Hill Road, Flanders, New Jersey; Sunset Valley Golf Course, 47 Sunset Road, Pequannock, New Jersey; and Pinch Brook Golf Course, 234 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park, New Jersey. Potential vendors may submit proposals for one location or multiple locations. Qualified Vendors are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.1, et seq. The successful vendor shall comply with the Affirmative Action Requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Proposal documents containing definitions of required services, evaluation criteria, and other pertinent information may be obtained at the Morris County Park Commission Administration Building, 353 East Hanover Avenue, Morris Township, New Jersey, on or after January 24, 2012 during regular business hours, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., prevailing time, Monday through Friday. The above information will also be accessible from the Morris County Park Commission’s website at www.morrisparks.net under the “Public Bids//Vendor Registration” link. The Morris County Park Commission shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source. Deadline for submitting responses for qualifications and proposals is no later than 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2012. An original and two copies of the proposal packets shall be submitted in an envelope clearly marked “Operation of Food Concessions at the Golf Courses” to the attention of Peggy Marcketta, Purchasing Agent Manager, Morris County Park Commission, 353 East Hanover Avenue, PO Box 1295, Morristown, New Jersey 07962-1295. In the case of a proposal being submitted by mail, the mailed proposal shall be placed in a sealed envelope with the aforesaid language on it, and that envelope containing the proposal is to be placed in a mailing envelope. The outside of the mailing envelope shall contain the same aforesaid language. Those choosing to submit proposals by mail assume all liability and responsibility for the timely receipt of the proposal as required by the proposal specifications. No proposals will be accepted, either by personal delivery or by mail unless it is received by the Morris County Park Commission by the date, time and at the location required by the proposal documents. Any proposals received after the designated date and time will not be considered and will be returned to sender unopened. The successful vendor must demonstrate the ability to deliver services that adhere to the specifications outlined in the documents, and provide required references.
