Summary of Specifications:
The Morris County Park Commission (MCPC) is seeking Requests for Proposals from creative and qualified firms with previous experience in integrated marketing for Recreation and Tourism, to redesign, develop, implement, and provide hosting and maintenance information for the park commission’s website. This project will involve utilizing posted information on the existing website as well as the implementation of new information, products, and features as suggested by the Park Commission and the firm selected. The MCPC seeks to create a dynamic website that is designed and organized in a manner that allows viewers with limited computer experience to easily find and access information. The website will act as an information and marketing tool to highlight the commissions programs and benefits to the residents and visitors. It will be easy to update and modify, with the ability to incorporate additional components in the future. The website will be used to provide information, download forms, give real time alerts, and the like. Qualified Vendors are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.1, et seq. The successful vendor shall comply with the Affirmative Action Requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Said request for proposals (RFP) will be available from the Morris County Park Commission Administration Building, PO Box 1295, 353 East Hanover Avenue, Morristown, New Jersey, on or after Thursday, April 4, 2013 during regular business hours, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., prevailing time, Monday through Friday. The above information will also be accessible from the Morris County Park Commission’s website at www.morrisparks.net under the “Public Bids//Vendor Registration” link. The Morris County Park Commission shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source. Deadline for submitting responses for qualifications and proposals is no later than 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 25, 2013. An original and three copies of the proposal packets shall be submitted in an envelope clearly marked “WEBSITE RE-DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, AND IMPLEMENTATION FOR THE MORRIS COUNTY PARK COMMISSION” to the attention of Kristin Biase, Recreation Manager, Morris County Park Commission, 353 East Hanover Avenue, PO Box 1295, Morristown, New Jersey 07962-1295. The successful Contractor must demonstrate the ability to deliver services that adhere to the requirements outlined in the Request for Proposal and provide required references.
