Separate SEALED BIDS will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris on November 2, 2023, at 11:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time in the Office of Purchasing, Morristown, New Jersey for the respective project as follows:

One (1) 2024 or Newer Freightliner M2 112 Conventional Cab Tandem Axle Mobile Command Post, or Approved Equal
Bid documents are available for downloading for free from http://www.morriscountybidsystem.com/, or may be picked up on or after October 18, 2023 in the Office of Purchasing at the address below during regular business hours. The County of Morris shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source.
Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, and the Bid number and title spelled out on the outermost packaging, addressed to the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris, and be delivered either in person at the hour designated, or previous thereto by delivery or mail, at:

No bids shall be accepted after the designated time, and Morris County will not assume responsibility for bids forwarded by mail or delivery service, nor any other conveyance.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
Bid and Proposal requests herein are solicited through a fair and open process, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.
The vendor shall maintain all documentation related to products, transactions or services under this contract for a period of five years from the date of final payment. Such records shall be made available to the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller upon request.

The County of Morris
In accordance with past guidance regarding Covid-19, the County of Morris requests that the public maintain social distancing. Accordingly, we ask that Bidders/Respondents may wish to consider not attending the Bid Openings in person. We do note that if Bidders/Respondents choose to attend, they are required to be screened by Courthouse security. If they show any signs of illness, they will not be permitted access to the building.
A bid review and provision of unit prices will be posted online once available.
Bidders/Respondents are encouraged to MAIL in bids and responses. If they must be hand delivered, the County of Morris has a drop box located outside of the Purchasing Office, 5th floor of the Administration and Records Building, 10 Court Street, Morristown, New Jersey.

TABULATION SHEET: Available on Bidnet within 1 week AFTER close of bid. Award of contract by the Board of County Commissioners will be made within 60 days.
