Summary of Specifications:
Crack Sealant to be applied by the Township of Denville. The work shall consist of the cleaning and sealing of existing cracks in HMA in accordance with the specifications. Crack Sealant shall be hot poured, type II conforming to ASTM D-6690: ASTM D 3405, Federal Spec. SS-S-1401C, AASHTO M301. The Melter unit shall be of a double boiler type with agitator, and using high flash oil 600F (31C) minimum. See specifications for more detail.
