Summary of Specifications:
This Request for Bids seeks bids from qualified licensed professionals for the provision of general maintenance, installation and repair services for the facilities of the Township of Denville (the “Township”). The Township seeks to enter into an agreement with one or two professionals to provide carpentry and masonry work at its facilities and for curbing and sidewalks in the downtown areas. Bidders are expected to bid on a single service or the requested services in whole.
The General Services include
A. Carpentry: provide general carpentry maintenance, installation, repair, emergency and related services at its facilities on an “as needed, when needed basis”. Services include, but not limited to: drywall repair, painting, shelf building installation, roofing (no flat roofs), siding and gutter repairs. B. Masonry: provide masonry repairs and maintenance. Services include but not limited to: sidewalk construction and repair, curbing projects, paver projects and small concrete pads (ex. Generator pads, AC Unit pads) Work to be done by Residential Site Improvement Standards and as specified in the Township of Denville Municipal Ordinance.
Municipal Facilities all located in the Township of Denville include but not limited to: Municipal and Public Safety Complex - Saint Mary’s Place Library and Museum Complex - Diamond Spring Road Public Works Complex – Morris Avenue Senior Center – East Main Street Recreational Field Concession stands and rest rooms at Zeek Park and Gardner Field Firehouses - Main Street, Diamond Spring Road & Franklin Road
