Project Description: The County of Chaves will plan, design, equip, install and construct a new elevator at the Chaves County Courthouse, 400 N. Virginia Ave, Roswell, Chaves County, NM (Latitude 33.396931 100; Longitude -104.521560800). Installation of a new elevator will consist of approximately: 105 cf selective saw-cut, demo and disposal of masonry wall openings; 80 cf saw-cutting & demo and disposal of concrete slabs on grade; 8 lf chip off edge of existing footing at elevator pit; 440 sf removal existing metal roof deck and expanded metal panels; 32 cy excavation of elevator pit and elevator lobby and entrance area; 20 lf reroute 4” roof drain around new elevator pit and lobby w/coring; 5 cy cast in place concrete footings /pit bottom, 4.5 cy cast in place concrete walls and retaining wails 8” thk. ; 20 epoxy anchoring in drilled holes; 245 sf 4” thk. concrete floor slab & concrete walks over 4” gravel; cast- in- place concrete cantilevered beams; 985 sf 8” CMU walls with reinforcing and grout; 170 sf face brick veneer and rigid insulation above roof, 3,150 lbs structural steel beams, angles, supports, etc.; 8 VLF pit ladder; 800 sf 6”ext. wall framing, shth 16 ga galv siding, R-19 batt, 5/8 G.B.; 440 sf 6” x 16 ga floor framing with 5/8 met. deck and plywd; 440 sf of 6” x 20 ga roof framing with 5/8 met. deck and R-19 batt insul; 280 sf 16 ga galvanized type B roof deck soffit; 280 sf R-19 batt insulation at raised exterior floor framing; relocate existing overflow scupper on JDC roof/parapet; 440 sf TPO roof system; 2 exterior hollow metal doors, frames and hardware; interior hollow metal fire rated door and frame for elevator, 800 sf 5/8” gypsum board fire protection; 1825 sf texture and painting; 190 lf 4” high rubber cove base; 540 sf vinyl composition tile floor finish; 2 new ADA compliant signs; hydraulic elevator, machine room-less 2000 lb non-polluting oil; 1 roof drain with piping and pipe insulation; 2 ductless heating and cooling, one per floor, smoke vent with smoke activated damper, 1 sump pump and piping to existing storm drain; fire protection sprinkler system including drain down & recharge; relocate existing CCTV camera; electrical work (lighting, power, fire alarm, special systems); digital video camera additions, and those items related to installing an elevator.
