ITB-399-RW - Runway 19 and Safety Area Improvements - Contract 2

Summary of Specifications:
Work consists of: extension of Runway 19 and parallel Taxiway A by 1,300' with all applicable navigational aids, lighting and underdrain systems, markings and signage. New airfield elements include the construcion of a holding apron along Taxiway A, a 5,000 perimeter roadway, and a new taxiway from the air cargo apron to the new runway threshold. The project also includes grading of the site, with over 300,000 cubic yards of off site material, wetland mitigation work, drainage, and a large maintenance and protection of traffic component, both for the airport and for Route 7.
