Description

The County of Albany, on behalf of the Albany County Sheriff’s Office, is seeking proposals from nonprofit organizations to arrange for legal representation and provide support services to indigent (families under 200% of the federal poverty level) immigrants residing in the County of Albany as well as those indigent immigrants currently being detained in the Albany County Correctional Facility, who are at risk of removal, or in danger deportation, further incarceration and losing their immigration status. The organization selected will also be responsible for providing training to Albany County department employees and the residents of Albany County on issues regarding immigration.
