Summary of Specifications:
The County of Albany is seeking proposals for In Home Contract and Support Services for Senior Residents as requested by Albany County Department of Aging.

In Home Contact and Support Services for isolated and home bound senior residents of Albany County include: Friendly Visiting: organized visits by staff or volunteers to provide socialization, recreation, and the opportunity to observe and report on client’s condition and circumstances; and Shopping Assistance: assistance in obtaining food, medicine, or other necessities, whether by shopping for the client at retail establishments to provide basic essentials of daily living and the opportunity to observe and report the clients’ condition and circumstances.

The County of Albany will implement a comprehensive program of services, to be provided by one or more agencies.
