Summary of Specifications:
The Albany County Sewer District operates two wastewater treatment plants designated North Plant, 1 Canal Road South, Menands, NY 12204 and South Plant, Church Street, Albany NY 12201. The ultimate disposal method of sewage sludge is via multiple hearth incineration. The District has continuous emission monitoring systems at each site in compliance with CFR-503 subpart E. In order to comply with regulations and to insure integrity of monitoring systems, the District is in need of quarterly preventative maintenance.
