Byram Hills Central School District, hereinafter referred to as the “District”, is seeking bids from responsible Contractors who can remove the existing radio equipment and supply/install new Hytera digital two-way mobile radios in 90 school buses housed at the Transportation Department, 9 MacDonald Ave., Armonk NY 10504. This upgrade of radio equipment also involves supplying and installing a new repeater housed in the existing cabinet at Coman Hill Elementary School, 558 Bedford Road, Armonk, NY 10504 inside the auditorium and replacing the antenna system on the roof with a new antenna system. It also includes the supply and installation of a mobile transceiver in the Transportation office, a desktop base station in the Garage and in the transportation office, supplying new Hytera mobile radios for the transportation office, desktop base station in the transportation office, a mobile radio in the transportation office, and handheld portable radios to communicate off-site, along with FCC licensing with a 10 year renewable term (all as detailed in the “Hytera Bus Radio Systems Bid Form” - Exhibit A). The bid also covers labor for installation/repair/removal and the supply of Hytera parts/equipment/accessories "as needed". The timeline for this work is to be completed over the Summer 2024 (starting on or before July 1, 2024 and having the work completed no later than August 30, 2024. All work is to be performed on-site at the two District locations noted above.
