It is the intent of the Byram Hills Central School District, hereinafter referred to as the “District”, to contract with a firm capable of providing reconditioning services including, but not limited to, the testing of equipment to NFSHSA standards, repair, cleaning/sanitizing, rebuilding, recertifying, of athletic uniforms, accessories and protective gear and the delivery/pickup and storage of the same. This contract will also cover replacement helmets and other accessories/gear for occasional time-sensitive expedited needs for rejected items terminated from play prior to the natural expiration timeline. Replacement uniforms, gear and equipment will primarily be purchased through the district’s current Athletic Uniforms Bid, or any other contract as expressly allowed by the School District’s purchasing policy. This contract shall be in accordance with the specifications/scope of work, and special terms and conditions in this Section II. and in the “Exhibit A - 2425-C02 Athletic Reconditioning and Repairing Services Bid Specs Response Form”.
The goal is to award the contract to one firm (on the basis of “best value”) that will provide all the necessary services, meet all the minimum offeror qualifications and requirements, and achieve the highest evaluation score that considers quality, cost and efficiency, per the specification.
