Summary of Specifications:
This ITB Package is to enhance the Cayuga County Emergency Services and Local Fire Departments ability to respond to Technical Rescue (including Trench capabilities, Collapse capabilities, and Vehicle Rescue capabilities) incidents throughout the County by building on existing Paratech Infrastructure that is already in place and in service. The integration of like systems is critical to the mission. Bidder must be able to provide the specified Paratech equipment at a minimum, exceptions will be considered on Air Bag components only, as “kits” of bags may offer more options for like pricing. At a minimum, any airbag kit must meet the specified sizes and content (at minimum) as described herein. The acquisition of the identified equipment will enhance the tiered response capabilities of Cayuga County with strategic locations selected to house, train, maintain and deploy equipment when requested or required.
