NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Chautauqua County Department of Finance will receive sealed bids for the Dutch Hollow Creek Streambank Stabilization Project Phase II, Invitation for Bid No. PW-1-21 PLAN. Such sealed bids must be filed with the Chautauqua County Purchasing Division of Finance located at 3 North Erie Street, Mayville, NY 14757, PRIOR TO 2:00 PM, May 24, 2021 at which time said bids will be opened and read via a Zoom Meeting. If you plan on dropping your bid off in person please make sure you leave yourself enough time to go through the main entrance as this building is secured and you will have to go through security.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on May 11, 2021 at 2 PM ET at the Project Location (3190 Dutch Hollow Road, Ellery, NY). All interested parties are strongly urged to attend.
The project has a utilization goal of 30% for Minority-owned and Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE). As a condition of receiving the award, the apparent low Bidder must demonstrate to the County how they will satisfy this goal including completion and timely submission of all documentation required by the County and/or State throughout the project. Compliance with the M/WBE requirements will be a requirement for payment.
Specifications, Instructions to Bidders, Non-Collusive Bidding Certification and Affidavits are available at the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Department of Finance, Gerace Office Building, 3 North Erie Street, Mayville, New York 14757. This Notice will be posted on www.empirestatebidsystem.com. Bid documents may be request by emailing andersob@co.chautauqua.ny.us.

NOTE: Chautauqua County shall not be held responsible for the completeness or accuracy of any bid documents received by a vendor that were not directly issued to that vendor by the Chautauqua County Purchasing Division.
Any vendor submitting a bid based on incomplete or inaccurate information resulting from documentation received from any third party, shall not have cause for relief from award or completion of a contract in accordance with the official documents on file with the Chautauqua County Purchasing Division.
EACH BID ENVELOPE MUST BE PLAINLY MARKED WITH THE BID NUMBER AND THE ITEM BID THEREIN.
Chautauqua County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any inconsistencies in, or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the County.
