Objective: Chautauqua County is seeking quotes for Locksmithing Services by any Chautauqua County department on an as-needed basis. Contractor will submit quotes for department approval prior to commencement of any/all work. Contractor retains right to bid on any & all bid requests. Quotes accepted by the County may be used by any department or agency of Chautauqua County government, as needed, during the contract term.
Contract Term: The term of the contract will be January 21, 2020 to December 31, 2022
Contract: A sample agreement is attached for your reference. The County intends to enter into a contract consistent with its purchasing policy, usually with the submitter of the lowest quote.
Insurance: County insurance requirements are attached. Insurance must be in place prior to execution of the contract. Failure to provide properly completed insurance certificates within five days of the date of request may result in a declaration that your quote is non-responsive.
Quote: Please complete all items on the quote form. Failure to do so may cause your quote to be declared non-responsive, with the result that it will not be considered. Mileage or Travel charges must be included in the quoted price. Unless otherwise indicated, Chautauqua County will not pay any type of fuel surcharge. Prevailing wages must be paid when required by law. Please note that Chautauqua County is exempt from Federal and State sales taxes.
The County reserves the right to: extend the time period within which quotes may be submitted; reject all quotes; and/or reissue an RFQ, upon determining that doing so will increase the number of quotes or will otherwise be in the best interest of the County.
Payment: To ensure prompt payment, all invoices must reference the contract number and, as applicable, include a copy of the delivery receipt. New York prevailing wage rate PRC#2019901251 applies to any work performed on County property. Successful contractor must submit to the County along with each invoice, certified payroll for the work being billed.
