Chautauqua County Department of Public Facilities will receive sealed bids for the CR155—cENTRAL AVENUE Mill and overlay. Such sealed bids must be filed with the Chautauqua County Purchasing Department located at 454 N. Work Street, Falconer, NY 14733 prior to 2:00 PM, August 10, 2018 at which time said bids will be publicly opened and read.
Bid documents may be obtained at the office of the Purchasing Department at the above mentioned address only. A refundable deposit of Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) will be charged for each set of plans and specifications. Checks shall be made payable to “Chautauqua County Department of Finance.” No refunds will be made after (30) thirty days from the bid opening. No vendor shall receive specifications prior to receipt of a deposit by the Purchasing Department. Vendors requesting that plans and specifications be sent Federal Express or UPS shall be responsible for all associated costs of shipping.
NOTE: Chautauqua County shall not be held responsible for the completeness or accuracy of any bid documents received by a vendor that were not directly issued to that vendor by the Chautauqua County Purchasing Division.
Any vendor submitting a bid based on incomplete or inaccurate information resulting from documentation received from any third party, shall not have cause for relief from award or completion of a contract in accordance with the official documents on file with the Chautauqua County Purchasing Division.

EACH BID ENVELOPE MUST BE PLAINLY MARKED WITH THE BID NUMBER AND THE ITEM BID THEREIN.
Chautauqua County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any inconsistencies in, or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the County.
