Chautauqua County Department of Finance will receive sealed bids for West Side Sewer Extension Project Phase 1, Invitation for Bid No. PW-1-21 SCCLSD. Such sealed bids must be filed with the Chautauqua County Purchasing Division of Finance located at 3 North Erie Street, Mayville, NY 14757, PRIOR TO 1:00 PM, May 27th, 2021 at which time said bids will be publicly opened during a zoom meeting. A meeting invitation will be sent to all bidders who complete the Bid Response Form stating that they will be submitting a bid. If you are dropping your bid off in person please make sure you leave it with the security guards at the entrance. If you are using fed-x or UPS there will be someone there to accept your sealed bid.
Specifications, Instructions to Bidders, Non-Collusive Bidding Certification and Affidavits are available at the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Department of Finance, Gerace Office Building, 3 North Erie Street, Mayville, New York 14757. This Notice will be posted on www.empirestatebidsystem.com. Bid documents may be request by emailing andersob@chqgov.com.

A PreBid informational meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time, May 12th, 2021 to discuss the project via teleconference call with online video conference. Prospective bidders who wish to access the Pre‐Bid meeting teleconference call may request the required login information by emailing David Woolley (david.woolley@ghd.com), email subject “SCCLSD West Side Sewer Extension Project – Pre‐Bid Meeting Video Conference Request”. All requests for the login information shall be before 9:00 a.m. local time, May 12th, 2021. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to partake in the Pre‐Bid meeting teleconference call.
NOTE: Chautauqua County shall not be held responsible for the completeness or accuracy of any bid documents received by a vendor that were not directly issued to that vendor by the Chautauqua County Purchasing Division.
Any vendor submitting a bid based on incomplete or inaccurate information resulting from documentation received from any third party, shall not have cause for relief from award or completion of a contract in accordance with the official documents on file with the Chautauqua County Purchasing Division.
EACH BID ENVELOPE MUST BE PLAINLY MARKED WITH THE BID NUMBER AND THE ITEM BID THEREIN.
Chautauqua County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any inconsistencies in, or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the County.
