Description

The work includes (i) the installation of approximately 250 feet of heavy rock rip rap (approximately 3 to 4-ft diameter limestone blocks) and one (1) grade stabilizer (engineered rock riffle) along Ball Creek in the Town of North Harmony, NY; and (ii) the installation of approximately 225 feet of heavy rock rip rap (approximately 3 to 4-ft diameter limestone blocks) along Goose Creek in the Town of Busti, NY. Work will also include the installation of live stakes (woody vegetation) along the newly stabilized stream banks, along with all required erosion and sedimentation control measures specified in the attached design plans and applicable NYSDEC documentation. See the attached drawings with notes and NYSDEC permit/correspondence for a full description of all work to be performed under this bid.

Bid documents may be obtained at the Division of Purchasing Office at the above mentioned address. A refundable deposit of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) will be charged for each set of plans and specifications. Checks shall be made payable to “Chautauqua County Department of Finance.” No refunds will be made after (30) thirty days from the bid opening. No vendor shall receive specifications prior to receipt of a deposit by the Purchasing Department. Vendors requesting that plans and specifications be sent Federal Express or UPS shall be responsible for all associated costs of shipping.
