RFB-0090 - Dual Compartment Rear Load Refuse Packer Truck

Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of the City of Elmira to purchase one (1) new and unused dual compartment, nine (9) cubic yard recycle and fourteen (14) cubic yard refuse, rear-load, dual steering, refuse packer truck. The unit will have fold down, flip back seats, tilt steering wheel and low entry cab in order that the operator can stand up while driving from either the left or right position. Proposed equipment shall be with a current production date. NO MID- PRODUCTION ASSEMBLIES, ENGINES, ACCESSORIES, OR PARTS THEREOF WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THE CITY. Accessories not mentioned in this document but necessary to furnish a complete unit ready for use upon delivery, shall be included and conform to current manufacturing standards for body strength and quality of material. Bidders proposed equipment must meet or exceed all minimum specifications contained in the document. Any exceptions to the minimum specifications must be clearly identified and listed on the data sheets (pages 11 through 26).
