RFB-0120 - New, Unused Tow Trailer

Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of the City of Elmira to purchase one (1) new and unused tow trailer which has a twenty-ton deck over trailer. Deck shall be 20 feet in length, have a 5’ Double-break Beaver Tail; and be complete with 40” x 80” ramps. The unit will have air brakes, wood ramps and deck and air assisted ramps or optional spring assist. Proposed equipment shall be of a current production date. NO MID-PRODUCTION ASSEMBLIES, ACCESSORIES, OR PARTS THEREOF WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THE CITY. Accessories not mentioned in this document but necessary to furnish a complete unit ready for use upon delivery, shall be included and conform to current manufacturing standards for unit strength and quality of material. Bidders’ proposed equipment must meet or exceed all minimum specifications contained in the document. Any exceptions to the minimum specifications must be clearly identified and listed on the data sheet.
