Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bid will be received in the Chemung County-City of Elmira Purchasing Department, Room 403, Fourth Floor, John H. Hazlett Building, 203 Lake Street, Elmira, New York 14901, until 1:45 P.M. on July 3, 2013, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. on the same date for: Smoke Detector Replacement Project for Chemung County Nursing Facility and Health Center. Much of the fire alarm and detection system equipment was replaced in the Health Department 1st floor wing after the 2007 fire with "state of the art" addressable equipment. This replacement project will replace the same equipment throughout the remainder of the facilty (principally the nursing facility wing floors 1 through 6).
