RFB-2415 - Temporary Emergency Housing Services

The County of Chemung, New York Department of Social Services (CCDSS) is currently seeking proposals from qualified agencies interested in providing Temporary Emergency Housing Assistance effective June 1, 2022. The Request for Proposal term may be extended for up to two (2) additional one (1) year terms at the discretion of the Chemung County Department of Social Services. The target population to be served is Temporary Assistance (TA) applicants & recipients who are referred as homeless, and individuals who present as homeless in Chemung County during inclement weather (under 32 degrees) hereinafter referred to as Code Blue. For the years 2020 – 2021 the average number of TA homeless applicants/recipients and Code Blue clients who were placed is 102–121 distinct people a night. Note: Code Blue months are generally higher.
