Contract No.1 Demolition & Site Preparation - DEMOLITION & REMOVAL OF THE LINCOLN PARK POOL & SELECT ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE

Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Contract and Supply, City Hall Room 202, Albany, New York 12207 until 12:00 p.m. on October 17, 2023. The bids will be publicly open and read at 1:30 p.m.

The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following:
• Removal of the existing pool and associated site piping
• Removal of pumps, piping and associated appurtenances in the Lincoln Park Bath House basement
• Site restoration

All work is to be completed by on March 30, 2024.

Complete sets of the drawings, specifications and bid forms may be examined after September 12, 2023 at the Offices of the Board of Contract and Supply, City Hall Room 202, Albany, New York 12207. Copies may be obtained upon a refundable deposit of $25.00 in the form of a check made payable to the City of Albany and a non-refundable handling charge of $5.00. Checks shall be made payable to
the City of Albany. Copies of bid documents may also be obtained online by visiting the following website:

All bids must be made on the official Bid Form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. This is a Lump Sum bid as described in the Instructions To Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty five calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 11:00 AM on September 28, 2023 at the project site.
