SECTION 1: PURPOSE
1.1.The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to identify and retain a qualified Contractor to provide
as-needed professional Medical Consultant Services to the City of Albany. Minority-owned
Business Enterprises and Women-.owned Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit
proposals.
1.2 The ensuing contract for these services and provision of materials will commence in or about
January 1, 2024, and will terminate on December 31, 2025 with three (3) one-year (1) extension
periods.
SECTION 2: RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS:
2.1 Proposers may submit Proposals by mail, hand delivery, or electronically via
BidNetDirect.com no later than Friday, December 29, 2023 at 2:00 pm. If a Proposer
chooses to submit a Proposal by mail or hand delivery, then four (4) copies of the Proposal
must be received in a sealed envelope marked “Proposal Enclosed – RFP 2023-35 –
Medical Consultant Services” at the address below. If a Proposal is more than 20 pages in
length, please include an electronic version of the Proposal, for example, on a flash drive
or compact disc (CD).
