SECTION 1: PURPOSE
1.1.The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to identify and retain a qualified Contractor to provide
as-needed professional Mold Remediation Services to the City of Albany. MWBE Certified
Contractors are encouraged to submit proposals for this Request for Proposal.
1.2 The ensuing contract for these services and provision of materials will commence in or about
Effective Date, and will terminate on December 31, 2024, with two (2) additional (1) extension
periods.
SECTION 2: RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS:
2.1 Proposers may submit Proposals by mail, hand delivery, or electronically via
BidNetDirect.com no later than Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 2:00 pm. If a Proposer
chooses to submit a Proposal by mail or hand delivery, then four (4) copies of the Proposal
must be received in a sealed envelope marked “Proposal Enclosed – RFP 2024-05– Mold
Remediation Services” at the address below. If a Proposal is more than 20 pages in length,
please include an electronic version of the Proposal, for example, on a flash drive or
compact disc (CD).
