Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Contract and Supply, City Hall Room 202, Albany, New
York 12207 until 12:00 p.m. on July26, 2018. The bids will be publicly open and read at 1:30 p.m.
The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of
construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and
described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following:
• Pavement preservation, sidewalk and crosswalk installation on New Scotland Ave. from Manning
Blvd. to Onderdonk Ave.
• Pavement preservation, sidewalk and crosswalk installation on Pearl St. (NY 32) from Madison
Ave. to Clinton Ave.
• Sidewalk and crosswalk installation on Hackett Blvd. between Forest Ave. and Clayton Pl.
• Maintenance and protection of traffic All work is to be completed by November 21, 2018.
This project is being progressed through the New York State Statewide Transportation Improvement
Program under PIN 1760.27. Construction will be in strict conformance with all NYSDOT and Federal
Aid Requirements and governed by the NYSDOT Standard Specifications Section 100 – General
Provisions and Section 200 thru 700 - Technical Specifications.
