Description

Furnish and delivery of Sodium Permanganate to the Alcove Reservoir, 156 County Route 111, Alcove, NY 12007. The contract period will be one-year (1), and it is estimated that approximately 13,000 – 15,000 gallons at 19.5% - 21.5% as Sodium Permanganate will be purchased over the course of that year. The product shall be sodium permanganate as manufactured by Carus Corporation, Peru, IL; or equal manufacturer meeting ANSI/ NSF 60 standards for use in the treatment of potable/drinking water. All methods of blending and delivery shall follow these standards. DELIVERY: Delivery of the product shall be coordinated with the Feura Bush Filtration Plant (518-767-2667) 24 hours in advance of shipment.
