CITY OF COHOES INVITATION TO BID ITB-08-04-22 CITY HALL BOILER INVITATION TO BIDDERS: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City of Cohoes seeks sealed bids for the purchase and installation of a replacement gas fired boiler, located at Cohoes City Hall, 97 Mohawk Street, Cohoes, NY 12047. Specifications may be obtained from the Cohoes City Clerk's Office, 97 Mohawk Street, Cohoes, NY, 12047, during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM for a refundable deposit of $25.00. Sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk's Office until the closing of bids at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 9, 2004, and will be publicly opened and read at 10:30 AM. Envelopes should be clearly marked " ITB-08-04-22. BOILER ". Specifications are available for a refundable deposit of $25.00; said fee is refundable if prints are returned unmarked within 30 days after closing date. A non-refundable deposit of $5.00 will be made by separate check to cover shipping and handling charges if Bid Documents are sent to the prospective Bidder. Bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount equal to 100 percent of the Contract amount. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of Cohoes has the right to reject any and all Bids, as well as the right to waive all informalities in awarding a contract deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Cohoes.
