City of Cohoes will award a single Prime Contract for the historic window replacement of the existing operable windows on the 2nd, 3rd, and Balcony levels, of the Cohoes Music Hall, including abatement of hazardous materials and miscellaneous repairs to existing openings associated with the Work. The Work limits are defined in the Contract Documents and will require coordination with the Owner's representative during construction operations to minimize conflicts necessary to facilitate the ongoing operations at the Music Hall.
Bids will be received on a Stipulated Sum basis, including unit prices, alternates and allowances, in accordance with the Summary of Work as described in the Contract Documents.
Subject to award of the Contract by no later than September 12, 2019, the Work shall be substantially complete, for occupancy and use by the Owner, within 95 calendar days, by no later than December 16, 2019, and completed and ready for final payment within 110 days after the date when the contract time commences to run, by no later than December 31, 20 19, as described in the Bid Documents. The Contractor(s) and the Contractor(s)' surety, if any, shall be assessed liquidated damages for each calendar day of delay after the date established for substantial completion in the Documents until the work is complete.
