The City of Cohoes New York Central Purchasing Department is requesting sealed bids for the Office of General Services for: Quantity - Four Thousand (4,000) - Universal Carts for Automated or Semi-Automated Collect on Service ( must be compatible with New Perkins Model #D6220 Rotary Actuator Cart Tipper) for the Department of Public Works. This is a unit cost bid for six (6) types of carts: Color: Green - Ninety (90) to One Hundred (100) Gallons: Sixty Five (65) to Seventy (70) Gallons: Thirty Two (32) to Thirty Five (35) Gallons
Color: Blue - Ninety (90) to One Hundred (100) Gallons: Sixty Five (65) to Seventy (70) Gallons: Thirty Two (32) to Thirty Five (35) Gallons as requested by the City of Cohoes Office of General Services:
Bids will be received by the Cohoes City Clerk, 97 Mohawk Street, Cohoes, NY, until 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 17, 2004. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the Common Council Chambers, Second Floor of City Hall at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, June 17, 2004.
Any bid not received by Central Purchasing by 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 17, 2004, will not be accepted.
Bid specifications are contained in these bid documents and are available for download from the Capital Region Purchasing Group Internet Web Site at http://www.govBids.com/scripts/CRPG/public/home1.asp. Bid documents may also be obtained by contacting the Cohoes City Clerk's Office at 97 Mohawk Street, Cohoes, NY, 12047 (518-233-2140), Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The City of Cohoes reserves its right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional Bids.
Minority Business Enterprises and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond. Additional Criteria: 8" x 10" clear area for City Logo Sticker Heavy Duty Injection Molded Design, Heavy Duty Rubber Wheels, Delivered to Individual Resident Homes by Vendor Staff.
Each Garbage Can must have it's own serial number, which number must not be repeated in 8,000 numbers.
Vendor staff must unload each garbage can at the homes of City Residents.
Garbage cans must be distributed on or before August 1, 2004
Bid must include specifications, pictures or photos of each garbage can.
All garbage cans must be distributed on or before August 1, 2004. Failure to meet that date of receipt shall result in an award to the City of $25 each day until receipt of the garbage cans.
