Water Filtration Plant Chemicals
The City of Cohoes, New York Central Purchasing Department is requesting sealed bids for the Office of Central Purchasing for: A one (1) year long contract (with the option to renew for two (2) years) to purchase numerous chemicals at unit cost for the City of Cohoes Water Filtration Plant.
The following chemicals are requested at unit cost: Chlorine (bulk), Sodium Permanganate (55 gal drums), Orthophosphate (30 gal drums) and Copper Sulfate – crystal form small to fine (50 lb. bags) and PCH-180.
Suppliers must provide local technical support, minimum 5 days a week delivery, pick up empty drums and be within a 50 miles of Cohoes, NY. Bids accepted from company only – No brokers.
Bulk supplier of Liquid Chlorine must be able to provide up to 2,000 gallons per delivery.
Bids will be received by the Cohoes City Clerk, 97 Mohawk Street, Cohoes, NY, until 9:30 A.M. on February 4, 2022. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the Common Council Chambers, Second Floor of City Hall at 10:00 A.M. on February 4, 2022.
Any bid not received by the Cohoes City Clerk by 9:30 A.M. on February 4, 2022 will not be accepted.
