CITY OF COHOES COHOES, NEW YORK 2011 STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS CONTRACT NO. 2-2011
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the 2011 Storm Sewer Improvements will be received, by the City of Cohoes, at the Common Council Chambers, City Hall, 97 Mohawk Street, Cohoes, New York 12047, until 9:30 AM local time on March 9th, 2012. The Bids received will be publically opened and read the same day at 10:00 AM. The Project consists of the construction of storm sewer improvements in five areas throughout the City. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for February 23, 2012 at 9:00 AM, City Engineers Office, Cohoes City Hall, 97 Mohawk St., Cohoes, NY 12047.
Bidding Documents may be examined at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 97 Mohawk Street, Cohoes, New York 12047 and the office of Malcolm Pirnie, Inc., 855 Route 146, Suite 210, Clifton Park, New York 12065. Copies may be obtained only from the Issuing Office, Camelot Consulting, Inc., 100 Fuller Road, Albany, New York 12205, Phone (518) 435-9696, Fax (518) 435-9688 upon payment of a deposit of $50.00 (refundable) for one complete scanned set of Bidding Documents on a CD-ROM media. If the Bidding Documents are ordered, and are to be delivered by mail, payment of an additional $25.00 (non-refundable) will be required by separate check to cover shipping and handling. Neither the Owner nor the Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including any addenda, obtained from other sources. Bidders who return full sets of documents in good conditions within 30 days after receipt of Bids will receive a full refund. Bidders who obtain more than one set of documents, will receive a refund of $50.00 for documents returned in good condition within the time limit stated above. Checks for documents shall be made payable to Malcolm Pirnie, Inc.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with Article 10 of the Instructions to Bidders.
Bidders shall furnish proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in Article 5 of the Instructions to Bidders. Time of commencement of the Work and Contract Times for completion shall be in accordance with Article 4 of the Agreement.
