REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL – ACTIVE DEPRESSURIZATION SYSTEMS WILLOW STREET RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES COHOES, NEW YORK The City of Cohoes, New York is soliciting cost proposals to design, install, and test active depressurization systems in two residential structures located on Willow Street. The purpose of the systems is to mitigate potential vapor intrusion resulting from the presence of chlorinated volatile organic compounds (VOC’s), primarily tetrachloroethene (PCE), in the soil vapor beneath the structures. The scope of work for the project is provided in Attachments A, B, and C. The work will be performed in the summer of 2010. The proposal shall include a brief description of the anticipated system design and cost to complete the scope of work. Specifications can be obtained by contacting Ed Tremblay or via the Cohoes City Clerk.
