Summary of Specifications:
The projects will be located at designated areas of Center Street, Chestnut Street and River Street The contract consists of, but not limited to, milling existing asphalt, removing and replacing of selected sub-grade material, installation of geotextile filter fabric in designated locations, adjusting all utility covers, furnishing and installing three inch (3”) thick Superpave Base hot mix asphalt, furnishing and installing two inch (2”) thick Superpave Binder hot mix asphalt, furnishing and installing two inch (2”) thick Superpave top hot mix asphalt. The project will also include tack coating, true and leveling courses and may also include the reconstruction of sub-base after the street is milled, cleaned and inspected. All existing streets striping will be restriped as shown on the contract drawings.
