Summary of Specifications:
ITEM 1. Free Standing Multi-space Parking Machine Pay Stations (2-6 units). Features to include: 1. Pay by space capability with printed receipt for user. 2. Solar/ battery power supply. 3. Accepts coins, bills, credit cards, pre-paid “smart” cards (include card reader). 4. Wireless communications for credit card processing, machine status; i.e. out of service, needs collection, out of paper, etc. Include wireless modem/ antenna. 5. Printed report of collection history, space use history, time studies, etc. 6. Printed report of currently occupied/ unoccupied spaces for enforcement, or equivalent. 7. Collection canister. 8. Printer paper. 9. Freight charges.
ALTERNATE #1. AC power supply to replace solar power (City of Oneonta to supply AC power to machine site). Installation (2-6 units) to be included in total price: 1. Installation of 2-6 units at various surface lots throughout the City. City of Oneonta to supply concrete mounting pad as per bidder’s specifications. 2. For AC power machines, City of Oneonta to supply installation of wire and conduit to mounting base, as per bidder’s specification. 3. Test all equipment, establish wireless communications.
Training to be included in total price: Bidder to supply personnel to train City staff AT OUR LOCATION on the use, collection process and maintenance of the Machine.
Prices quoted to be effective for a period of 60 days from award.
All bidders must include detailed information regarding credit card processing. If bidder provides processing, or works with a preferred secondary vendor, include preferred vendor information. Also provide: transaction processing costs; monthly fees; vendor transaction percent fees, etc. State whether machines are compatible with multiple credit card processing vendors.
