RFB-WWTP Methane Boiler - WWTP Methane Boiler Replacement

Summary of Specifications:
A. Furnish and install one (1) low pressure, wet base, cast iron sectional boiler with power burner that pressurizes the firebox and operates under forced and balanced draft and connect to the existing breaching. 

B. Provide all electrical connections from the boiler control panel to the “inforcer” boiler combustion air unit previously installed. 

C. Provide all new 480 volt 3 ph power from adjacent panel, all new 120volt 1 ph power and control wiring, the boiler failure alarm to the existing alarm board and provide a certificate of compliance with the NFPA from an accredited agency. Refer to drawing #4. 

D. Provide approximately 100’ of 1 1/2” rigid fiberglass pipe insulation on 6” welded steel heat supply and return piping and 10’ of 1 ½” rigid fiberglass insulation on victaulic heat piping. Wrap insulation in 5mm PVC jacketing with molded corners. 

E. Insulate existing boiler breeching with 2” Johns Manville Super Caltemp Gold 1700 high temperature pipe insulation or approved equal. 

F. Remove and dispose of the existing flood damaged methane boiler and assemble and install boiler-burner unit on the existing concrete pad in compliance with manufacturers installation instructions. All work must be done in a neat and workman like manner. All asbestos has been previously abated.
