RFB-COP-10-06-33 - Concrete Encased Fire-Protected Tank System

Summary of Specifications:
(1) 8,000 Gallons aboveground Tank System with secondary containment and minimum 2 fire hour rating. The tank and its enclosure shall be a completed unit at the factory (shop fabricated) and listed as an assembly by U.L. Standard 2085 Protected Secondary Containment Tank. The tank system shall also meet or exceed all standards set by UFC 79-7 latest revision. Provide a concrete base slab that is designed for such above ground tank systems and the adjoining vehicle pads. Also provide the primary electrical power to the concrete base slab for the tank dispensing units and associate metering devices. The aboveground tank, concrete pad, electric, fuel dispensers, fire protection, and associated fuel island monitors and equipment provides the city DPW a fully operational diesel fuel island constructed in compliance with current OSHA and DEC regulations.
