C06380 - 2021 FALL LEAD SERVICE REPLACEMENT

PROJECT ESTIMATE:  $2,800,400.00

CONTRACT TYPE: This is a UNIT PRICE contract.

PROJECT SUMMARY:  The scope of the work entails excavation and abandonment of existing lead, lead lined and galvanized water services between the water main and the curb stop.  A new polyethylene or copper service line is installed including the tap, service tubing, curb stop, curb box, and reconnection to the properties inside service line.  The work includes fulshing the service line from the water main to the meter.  Street pavement, sidewalk and tree lawns are restored.  All workis performed on streets that are scheduled for pavement resurfacing within 24 months.
