PROJECT SUMMARY:
This Project consists of the improvements to 2023 Preventive Maintenance Group 1, East Avenue from Culver Road to Probert Street, University Avenue from Culver Road to Blossom Road,
Culver Road from Garson Avenue to Laurelton Road, Culver Road from Clifford Avenue to Norton Street, and South Avenue from East Henrietta Road to Elmwood Avenue.
The scope of the work consists of milling of the existing pavement and placement of new pavement top course for the entire project corridor. The project also includes as needed and where appropriate spot base repair, spot curb repair, spot gutter repair, spot sidewalk repair inclusive of installation of accessible curb ramps, adjustment and/or repairs of manholes, receiving basins and water valve castings, minor utility impacts, lawn restorations, installation of bicycle facilities, bus stop landing pads,replacement of traffic loops and pavement markings, and curb bump-outs and mid-block crossings at select locations to improve pedestrian safety.

Bids shall be submitted only on the complete Proposal on the form provided by the City. Bids must be submitted in hard copy on the Proposal. Electronic bid submittals through BidNet will not be accepted.
Sealed Proposals endorsed with the name of the Bidder and stating the Bidder’s address must be received by the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall Room 105-A, 30 Church Street, Rochester, NY 14614 prior to the Bid opening. The Bid opening is scheduled at Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 2:00PM local time in a video conference format.at which all Bids will be publicly opened, read and recorded.
