SCOPE

The intent of this specification is to secure the purchase of plants grown as annuals such as mums, cannas, petunias, begonias, celosia, coleus, kale, nicotiana, zinnias, impatiens and various vegetables to be used by the Department of Recreation and Youth Services, and the Department of Environmental Services. Orders for this contract will be placed with the vendor early in the year (no later than January 30) in order to ensure the vendor(s) have enough time to purchase and grow the plants. Orders may also be placed in the spring/summer from existing inventory.
